From BmoreArt Website: We’re excited to announce the release of Shabtis Gather: Jackie Milad, a stunning, full-color, 200-page publication celebrating the work, process, and cultural impact of Baltimore-based artist Jackie Milad. Featuring over 150 images of Jackie’s vibrant mixed-media collages, this book offers a layered and intimate portrait of her evolving practice. Her work explores themes of identity, migration, and ancestral memory through bold textures, rich symbolism, and dynamic composition. Shabtis Gather is the first publication to present Jackie Milad’s archive at this scale and depth.
